Fiskerihavn is located out there on the north-west tip of Nordhavn, where it is impossible to go any further.

Fiskerihavn looks like it has been here forever, but it was not until 1995 that the then Port of Copenhagen (now CPH City & Port Development) chose to move the harbour here from Skudehavn, where it was in the way of the container port.
In 1995, Skudehavn's buildings were literally lifted onto lorries and driven out to the newly established harbour basin further north.
If you walk around Fiskerihavn's environment today, it is clear that not only was the transfer of the buildings successful. The process also managed to transplant the harbour's culture and environment.
