New commercial buildings

You will find information here about new or upcoming commercial buildings in Nordhavn. There are many businesses in the area - primarily port-related - but the emphasis here is on the new buildings that have been constructed or that are planned in connection with the new local plans in the area.

Copenhagen Port Company House in the Århusgade quarter
The first sale of land in the Århusgade quarter was the 59-metre high grain silos, which have been transformed into a 14,000 square metre office building. The silos are located on one of the most central locations in the quarter. NCC has converted the silos for commercial use in collaboration with ATP Pension Danmark and PFA. Read more on the website of Copenhagen Port Company House.

PFA Ejendomme on Redmolen
PFA has purchased a larger building site on Redmolen in Copenhagen's Nordhavn from CPH City & Port Development. PFA has therefore acquired the opportunity to construct a building with approximately 55,000 square metres of floor space. The properties will be primarily for business, while about 10% can be used for housing. Read the newsletter issued in connection with the launch of the architectural competition.

UN City
CPH City & Port Development is the developer of the UN City, which is owned jointly by PensionDanmark, ATP and CPH City & Port Development. The building houses eight UN organizations in Denmark, and Copenhagen is therefore the world's 6th largest UN City. The first part of the building was handed over at the beginning of 2013 and the second stage was delivered in 2014. Read more about the UN City here.

UNICEF's global-hub warehouse
Nordhavn houses UNICEF's enormous, high-tech global-hub warehouse, for which CPH City & Port Development was the developer. The global-hub warehouse consists of a high-bay warehouse and a low-bay warehouse with associated administration and office. The high-bay warehouse is 24 metres high and a kind of wall-coated steel rack. The high-bay warehouse can hold approx. 37,000 U.S. or EUR pallets. Everything in the warehouse is shipped and utilised in UNICEF's long-term work and in disaster scenarios. For example, UNICEF provides school equipment for school projects, water purification tablets to ensure safe drinking water and sports equipment and toys to provide psychological first aid to children in disaster situations.
