PLEASURE BOATING - SVANEMØLLEHAVNEN

Svanemøllehavnen er Denmark´s largest marina with about 1,100 berths. Svanemøllehavnen is the northernmost marina in Copenhagen Harbour. The harbour is the home of Kjøbenhavns Amatør Sejlklub (: Copenhagen Amateur Sailing Club - KAS), Sejlklubben Sundet (: The Sailing Club The Sound - SS) and Øresunds Sejlklub Frem (: The Sound Sailing Club Forward - ØSF).

Guest berths and facilities

There are no guest berths as such in the harbour, but the permanent berth holders normally remember to turn their signs "green", so as a rule it is no problem to find mooring in the harbour. There are excellent facilities in Svanemøllehavnen – and easy shopping access. The petrol station on the central pier has a kiosk and a limited range of goods. In the club houses of the three sailing clubs there are fair-priced restaurants.

There are only 600 metres to a shopping street with all kinds of shops, e.g. a bank, a chemist´s, a baker´s, a baker´s and supermarkets. Walking to public transportation such as buses and a metropolitan railway station takes eight minutes.

At the new area at Svaneknoppen at Nordmolen (Northern Pier) tables and benches have been put up in green surroundings. It is possible to grill your own food and bathe here. At the Østmole (Eastern Pier) you will find tables, benches and an available grill at a cosy spot behind the toilet and shower building.
